Good Day for a Hike, Part 1

So the main two things to do in Lake Quinault is hiking or boating. So as always we decide to take a hike since I've visited many times, but never found the time to hike (or was doing other things)

The trail we decided to take was half a mile or so that goes along the South side of the Lake and these are just the views of across the lake.

In some areas you are right up to the shore of the lake and others there is a nice drop until you meet the water!

Indian paintings are all over the inside of the lodge.

As mentioned, the parts where you can just walk up to the water. Of course this is private property and you should always obey signs...

Bella was fascinated by the rocks. Kept wanting to throw them in the water.

There were tons of docks around the lake and I was riveted by them. This one obviously hasn't been used in years, but imagine what it would look like when it was new!
